Welcome to Compassion Dental of Harlingen! It’s always exciting when we get to greet a new patient and their families. We want our relationship with you to start off on the right foot, which is why we’ve listed everything you’ll need to know before your first appointment on this page. Your First Visit
Before you arrive, to save you time, download your registration forms below. Be sure to bring the completed forms to your initial appointment, along with your x-rays and insurance card, if you have them. At your visit, we may take new digital x-rays and intraoral photos of your mouth to update your records. Dr. Guillen will personally examine your teeth, gums, jaws, head, and neck. He’ll also ask if you have immediate concerns or long-term goals that he should consider when planning your treatment. He will use your digital images to explain his findings, and we may recommend you watch short videos to help you understand treatment options. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask! Dr. Guillen and our team are privileged to be your personal consultants for lifelong oral health.
New Patient Forms
We have made our new patient forms available to you as Adobe Acrobat files. For your convenience, we recommend printing and completing these forms at home. Please remember to bring your completed forms with you for your first appointment. If you have any problem getting these files to print properly, please call our dental office and we will gladly send or fax them to you.

Our in-house Gold Dental Membership Plan lets us give more patients access to quality dental care at a price they can afford. Unlike insurance, there isn’t a deductible or a yearly maximum to worry about. You simply pay the membership fee and then enjoy discounts on all of our services for the rest of the year. Dental Insurance Welcome
Are you getting the most out of your insurance? Our team is used to dealing with different insurance companies and can go over your benefits with you to help you get the most out of them. Our practice can also accept other policies. Call us ahead of time to confirm whether we take your plan and review the kind of coverage you can expect for a given service.
